Dramatic rock formations jut out of the water at the tip of the Baja peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Before we went snorkelling, the high-speed zodiac carried us to see these formations at close range. We were told that this is called “lovers’ arch” because the Pacific ‘kisses’ the Sea of Cortez through the tunnel-like opening.
