‘Clergy Supply’ in Churchill, Manitoba
In April and May, 2011, I spent four weeks in Churchill, Manitoba – filling in as the parish priest in historic St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Churchill is a remarkable and improbable town on the shore of Hudson Bay. The town, known today for its eco-tourism, has had a long and complex history, traces of which are evident everywhere you turn.
